SAFETY

Barcelona is safe. However, if you act like an ignorant tourist, you will be subject to pickpocketing. Therefore, we encourage you to keep a small purse close to you, keep your wallets in your front pockets, and don’t leave belongings such as keys, phones, or purses on the tabletops at cafes and restaurants. This is super common to do in the states, but abroad its better to be overly cautious. There is nothing to be concerned about, but rather just a reminder to always be overly mindful and cautious when traveling abroad in general.

PLUS ONES & CHILDREN

Only those invited on the save the dates are invited to our wedding, our celebrations, and our hotel block. We cannot allow children or plus ones at any wedding event. Do not even bother asking.

HOWEVER, we understand that this is a fantastic trip. Therefore, if you would like to come out of your own pocket and pay for a plus one to fly to Spain and stay in a hotel room, that is fine. As long as, both you and your plus one understand they will not be allowed to participate in any wedding festivities or events.

Additionally, if you have a small child you would like to bring, we can help arrange childcare for that child while you are at wedding activities and festivities. Children WILL NOT  be allowed to attend these things, but again we understand if you would like to pay out of pocket to bring them along.
